Day 1 : SINGAPORE
KANSAI
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for
your flight to the land of the rising sun - Japan.

Day 2 : KANSAI – OSAKA
In the morning, we visit the majestic Osaka Castle
(admission to Castle’s Museum excluded). Next,
visit Universal Studios Japan. Armed with your
passport ticket explore the various popular movie
theme sites such as Jurassic Park - The Ride, E.T
adventure, Terminator 2 etc. In the evening, you are
free to explore the shopping and eating paradise
’Shinsaibashi’ - famous for its neon lights and
‘Dotombori’ You can also roam the streets of Umeda
and marvel at the spectacular city lights.

Day 3 : OSAKA - KYOTO – NAGOYA (GIFU)
After breakfast, we head for Kyoto, visit the famous
Kinkakuji “Golden Pavilion”, originally built in 1394.
Next to Kiyomizu Temple. It is nested in the quiet
foothills of Mount Otawa, which has a large veranda
supported on hundreds pillars and was built in 1633.
Thereafter, depart to Nagoya or Gifu.
From 01Apr – 10May,proceed to Nagoya city tour.
The district’s old landmark is the Nagoya TV Tower
(by-pass), the oldest of its kind in Japan. Then to
Sakae shopping street. Sakae’s new landmark is
the futuristic looking Oasis 21 Complex, which was
opened to the public in 2002. Oasis 21 accommodates
Nagoya’s highway bus terminal and many shops and
restaurants. Various events are held on the “Milky
Way Square”, the public space below the building’s
intriguing “Water Spaceship” roof.
From 11May – 10Oct, proceed to Gifu. Tonight,
you will have a chance to observe and learn over
1300 years fishing method known as “UKAI” –
Cormorant fishing.

Day 4 : NAGOYA (GIFU) – TAKAYAMA – SHIRAKAWAGO
This morning, depart to Takayama. Takayama, an
ancient, tranquil city called “Little Kyoto”. Take a stroll
at the narrow street of San-machi (the old street of
Takayama), It retains the elegance of an Edo period
township of 400 years ago. Enjoy strolling through
the vibrant town where the streets are lined with
restaurants and shops built in the original own houses,
while rickshaws are wheeled throughout the town.
Next to Shirakawa-go Ogimachi Gassho Village.
This tranquil mountain village of 113 buildings has
been registered in 1995 as part of the World Heritage.
Its architectural structure known as “gassho-zukuri”
(a house with a thatched gable roof, so name because
of its shape resembling hands clasped in prayer:
“gassho”), steeply sloping at an angle of 60 degrees
for protection against heavy snowfall in winter.

Day 5 : SHIRAKAWAGO – TATEYAMA KUROBE ALPINE ROUTE (Toyama – Nagano)
Today an exciting day awaits you. The Tateyama
Kurobe Alpine Route has a distance of 86 km
and goes from Tateyama Station on the Toyama
Chiho Tetsudo line to Nagano Ogisawa, by
a combination various types of vehicles namely
Tateyama Cable car, Tateyama Tunnel trolley
bus, Kurobe Cable car, Kanden Tunnel Trolley
bus and Tateyama ropeway. Mountaineers and
tourists will visit in the season of fresh green to the
season of tinted autumn leaves. Kurobe Dam is built
at the upper stream of Kurobe-gawa River with a
capacity of 200 million tons of water and at a height
of 186 m. On the way to the Alpine-route, there are
many scenic spots such as the Akushiro-no-kabe rock,
Syomyo-daki Falls and also Murodo where a spring of
2-5 degrees Celsius gushes out even in summer.

Day 6 : NAGANO – KARUIZAWA – TOKYO - NARITA
This morning, proceed to shop in the popular Shopping
Paradise - Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza
outlet mall. It is one of the biggest outlet mall in
Japan. There are more than 120 international branded
shops. Thereafter, depart to Tokyo. Upon arrival, visit
the local products market – Ameyoko. Over here,
there are some 500 reasonably priced shops selling
food, jewelry, sports, cosmetics and other items. Lastly,
spend sometime shopping in Ginza.

Day 7 : NARITA (TOKYO)
SINGAPORE
Bid farewell to this beautiful country before being
transferred to the airport for your flight home.
